It Pays to Serve God, Humanity, Says Ubah, As Imo Editors Honour Him 

Ubomiri, Mbaitoli Local Government Area,Imo State, born philanthropist and humanitarian, Chief Polly Ubah, has called on people to always do good, because whatever one does is not only taken note of by others, but will also receive due  reward at the appropriate time.

The philanthropist spoke in his village of Amauburu, Ubomiri Mbaitoli Local Government Area, during the occasion of the conferment of award of excellence in “Philanthropic and”Humanitarian Services”, by members of the Imo Editors and Columnists Forum.

According to him, since he took to what he described as a noble and inspiring passion of using his hard earned, personal resources, energy and time, to put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden, making life more meaningful for them in the process, he has being doing it quietly without blowing his trumpet.

He stressed that as he was doing that quietly and unannounced,he never knew some people were monitoring and tracking what he was doing.

He posited that that was what the action of the media group demonstrated, hence his advice that people should be mindful of actions and inactions.

Chief Ubah who was flanked by his wife and other relatives during the occasion, showered encomium his wife for always being a pillar of strength and support to him,in his humanitarian activities.

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the forum for finding him worthy to be honoured with an award of excellence, promising that the gesture would further inspire him to do more for humanity and God.
